Default PI Engine Swap

I am looking to put a new 2001 or newer PI engine into my 96 GT. What all will I need to do the swap other than the block and intake? Also, will the stock 4.6 non PI ECU work with the 2001 engine?

someone throw me some help here, I would like to order my motor ASAP

I know it's easier to use other peoples brains but give it a try. Here a link from the Search page keyword "PI swap" sub catagory General Tech. No one ever said you wouldn't have to work for your answers, just that you'll find them there first. Go through the posts and see what you learn. Then ask questions.

If your post would have included something like, "I've found "this much" on the PI swap but I am unsure about the specifics, can someone help?" I wouldn't be such a jerk if the noobies didn't just ask questions with out any work on their part. I use the search function everyday on this site and it work contrary to popular belief.
