yeah alot of beer for sure haha, and yeah i wanna carb it so i dont have to deal as much wiring. i can do wiring but i dont like too. its out of a cobra, it doesnt have an intake on it. a 99 cobra i think? werent these supercharged?

yeah i'd say check them out, they have the best manifolds for carbing a 4.6. i also think edelbrock makes manifolds for carbs too don't they?

No, only '03 - '04 Cobras and GT500's are factory supercharged.

Your harness will work fine if you extend some of the wires. You will also need a new hood. You need to figure out if it's a Mark 8 or a Cobra. If it's a Mark, you'll need an intake and few other little things. The compression on the Mark is a little lower, but most of the power difference from the Cobra is the intake.

Call me crazy but i was thinkin about putting it in a fox body. Thats why i was originally thinking about a carb intake. I know edelbrock makes one, but i thought it said it was only for sohc?

i forgot edelbrocks is SOHC, then go with karkraft, (karkraft.com) they sell complete modular 4v motors with carbed intakes, and they also sell just the intake or adaptors, whatever you need for a 4v to be carbed

How many intake ports are there? If there are 16, then you have B-heads. Good luck getting anything other than a factory EFI intake for that. If there are only 8, then it's a 99-up of some form and KarKraft can hook you up. Their carb adapter manifold looks mighty restrictive, though. Don't expect monster numbers from that thing.
