i was just wondering if it would be possible to convert a sohc 4.6 to a dohc if you bought new doch heads and i would imagine you'd need new timing gears and a timing chain? i couldnt think of any reason why it wouldnt work but tell me if im wrong, and if it is possible will and dohc heads work or are there any special ones?.

yes it is possible but your gonna need alot of parts and its possible it would be cheaper to just buy a built DOHC and drop it in...
