Default car is shaking

Hey i'm having a little car trouble. There is a funny noise coming from the front end that sounds like some part of the suspension is shifting positions and makes a popping noise. This happens mainly when i am making a u-turn and using the full turning radius (which sux @$$ btw). Braking hard also makes the sound (i know this sounds vague but any suggestions are wellcome). Also, when i am on the highway the whole car and steering wheelshakes then gets worse with increasing speed. I think the sound is coming from the front left and the tire on that side is kind of bald and needs to be changed. I plan on getting it changed tomorrow when i bring it to the dealer but i would like to have anidea of what is causing this.

Default RE: car is shaking

I would just check your ball joints and tie rod ends for the popping sound. Im almost willing to bet that its a ball joint, since the tire is bald on that side your caster and camber is probably out of wack, due to a worn ball joint.

Your tire that is bald is probably out of balance or you have a broken belt inside of it, replace it and it should stop the high speed shaking. Or it could be from the ball joint/tie rod end if they're severly worn. It's kinda hard to tell since I'm not there and actually driving it!
