Heck ya that does look better than the black!

 

Wow lynnbob, I really like the way that looks with the painted center piece. I had always kind of been against the cdc shaker setup because of the center piece, but seeing it painted has completely turned me around....now if I only had $800...

 

Personally, I disagree. I can see that the applique and the hood are two different parts layered on one another, and I believe that such a combination shouldn't be hidden, rather, emphasized. Also, the black plastic matches the chin spoiler and grille.

 

get the hood, its so much better than the cdc applique.you can do the whole setup with a real mach hood for about 800 if you look around and buy used parts. the mach hood with the shaker is by far the favorite part of my car.

 

i like yours LynnBob, but when i bought mine, i didnt buy the mach 1 hood and all that stuff because i didnt wanna just rip off a mach 1 you know, im proud to own a gt, plus i dont wanna **** off some mach guys lol but ill post some pics soon. i like the flat black color of the applique because IMO it matches the chin spoiler and grill delete great.
