eh, 4.30's are starting to bore me...

I may go 4.56's or just sell the stang and buy a manual foxbody...yep, that's the ticket!

It's not worth the money to buy and install them. Just use the money for more mods.

i agree once you decide on gears just stick with them and buy other mods unless you have s/c and its not working well with your axle ratio

No, but to go from 3.90's to 4.30's or 4.56's would be insane.

yea man 4.56 if your constantly at the track, i would defenetly get beafier axles if your running stock tire height with great traction and 4.56 gearing, or you will twist those axles like a twizller.

im just going with 3.73's in my stang. i already am always on the gas. dont see how i can afford the mileage of 4.10's. also have other plans for the motor one day.... ive got one question right now though... i dont have much money right now... only 170 bucks... so should i buy some gears or just get some underdrive pullies? i know i will notice more from the gears but i would have to save like 250 up for the install. not sure which would be easier for me. probably jsut buy some gears.... what brand do you all think is good? i dont want to have gear whine. i was thinkin of the FFRP gears cause they are from ford... where is the place to get gears for the best price. i want to save some money.

Ditto - just goin wif 3.73's.....

Dude I'm getting the same mileage with my 4.10s as the stock gears. If you don't floor it every time the mileage is nearly the same.

Holy ****, get the 4.10s!! This car should have came with these gears. I got teh motive gears by the way and there is NO whine whatsoever!!!!!!!!! First gear is way too fun now, and second is like first used to be. I can now chirp third gear like I used ti chirp second. My speedo is off by 20 mph now and fifth gear is a must when crusing anywhere above 45mph. Other than that, the acceleration is way better than stock and well worth the $$. If this isn't your first mod you do, IT SHOULD BE YOUR SECOND@@!! Esspecially if you are getting used to the way your GT accelerates and you are bored with it. This will change your mind for sure. Got my motive gears for $132 shipped to my house from mustangtuning.com. Got them installed from a local guy for $200 with no issues!!! GET GEARS!!! and a programmer to fix the speedo.

Brian
Yea I can't wait to get my 4:10's. Hopefully soon...the wife has a better paying job now so maybe i'll see some gears soon!!

Oh yea.....I can get tire action shifting to 2nd, 3rd and 4th with stock gearing no problem at all....maybe it's my steeda tri-ax though.
