Hrrmm.. Never seen an 01 GT go up at the top end, but a friend of mine had an 02 GT and I was in the car with him at a hair under 150 before he hit the limiter (assuming the speedo was accurate that is), and He has vid of a run he did up to a little over 160, but that was with exhaust, mids, and a flash tune that turned off his limiter and re-flashed the PCM.. I would think that without a limited an 01 should be able to get a little over 150, maybe 155 before it falls on it's face..

i got up to about 135 one time but def way to fast... just asking for trouble... and i find the speedos, when they get up to that speed, can be off by a decent amount up to ~5 mph

mines an 01 and i pegged the speedo on the way to school today hehe

i have been 100 in mine on the interstate i just cant the car has plenty more i just think about a deer or something jumping out in front of me. and also those blue light specials.

Fastest i've ever hit was 140 exactly. It was perfectly comfortable and in control. The only thing that scared me was cops sitting around and an animal running out in front of me. Either way though at those speeds; Tire Blow Out = Death

i hit 120 the second day i had the car and right wen i looked at the speedo i realized and was liek ****tt haha i was scared of the PO-LICE but it handled fine and had PLENTY more to go

theres about a 10 mile rural stretch where I live and I hit 150 stock except for a hypertech and it felt like it had more to go, but I didnt lol
