Default Aftermarket spring ?'s

Newbie here having come from the dark side ( import world)

Got a springs question.............

I love my new ride but the 4X4 look has to go. At the same time, Im done with the ride my imports gave me when dropped 1.5" ( Eibach Prokit applications). I actually like the ride on the stock set-up so I dont want to go much stiffer but I want a drop too.........with my Altima, the car was great in the twisties but I got tired of the constant pounding of stiff springs.........

I'd also like not to have to swap out shocks/struts for now.

Suggestions??????

Well I dont know how harsh your ride was with your altima, but I dropped mine 2" with the Eibach Sportlines. Its not really that bad, it just depends on how the roads are where you live. You never said what kind of car your have? Year ??? etc...
Do a search, there are 9 billion threads on different springs.

Eibach, C springs, Tokiko, any spring will do as long as it's not the cheap ebays. Choose your drop and buy name brand. with springs it matters.

Ebay springs FTL.

You buy a cheap spring, you get a cheap ride. Same with Shocks and struts.
You'll be bouncing all over the road like a dump truck.

Intrax isone of theebay brands that I was talking about. Ride in your car and ride in another with a name brand spring and you'll notice a big difference. I don't know how many mile you've put on your car since you bought them but I can say positively you'll eventually start to notice sagging and a harsher ride.

I have K-sport springs and really like them... 2" drop rides fine.

almost30,000 miles. i drove an 04 with i think kyb or something, but it was a full set up and i couldnt tell the difference. i have no "sag". i mean the settled after a few days of driving. but thats normal. and i kinda doubt a reputable source like summit. would keep junk parts on the shelf, ultimately its THEIR name onthe line besides the guy said he didnt wanna do shocks and struts for now.

Like stated before intrax is a ebay brand... same as DropZone. It's your car, do what you like.. but you will eventually get a rough ride and they will sag. Summit really has nothing to do with the name of Intrax, of course they are going to stock it if they can sell it. Why not?? They are making money. They'll sell you turbonators if you'll buy them.
