I would deff say drag radials. You have way to much power to be running in the 8.7 range i ran a 9.22 with my 2 mods.

I ran an 8.7 off the bottle lol

Also, +1 on drag radials. You arn't likely to get far without em. Just find some cheap *** (or free) stock V6 15 inch wheels, and grab some MT ET streets for the track only.
Yep, or those Crager 8s off Summit for like 39 bucks a piece(that's what I use).

What breaks rearends is the 4500+ RPM clutch dumps on sticky surfaces.
So true. I think that's why my rear end has been hanging in there. I launch at 5000 but its a slight slip. Never really straight dumped the thing.
