somthin i just relized... our cars come stock with the autolite platinums... which are better plugs than you put in... dont know if that means anything or not?

no they dont, our cars come with Motorcraft platinums. atleast mine did.
Anyway, took my car to Ford, and they looked around, and ended up changing my exhuast manifold gaskets. He said 1 of them was torn, which was causing the exhuast leak. Still have a slite tap, i think its the flywheel spinning, cause it comes from the center bottom of the car, and goes with the RPM. im not really worried about it, but maybe in the future. But the car runs good, and sounds good agian . thanks for all the respones.

Yes Motorcraft platinums came out of mine. Replaced at 30k.

Motorcraft plugs at one time were made by Autolite. Just rebadged to charge you 6 bucks each at the dealer. Not sure when/if they stopped doing that.
