If money is no object, the SVO heads are the highest flowing 2v heads available, but you can't use a PI intake with it.

Otherwise MMR, Livernois, Fox Lake, and alot of other guys do head porting services. It really, really sucks that there's no true aftermarket head casting for a New Edge GT.

what heads would work best for a 2V? long or short? (i also want it loud)
oh **** I just realize I think you mean headers. Well longtubes are awesome for increasing exhaust scavenging, but it can also be a pain to pass emissions (so I've heard), and you'll gain more power over the entire band with them. To me it seemed like the exhaust tone lowered and while it wasn't louder next to the car, the sound carried for a considerably longer distance.

some pointers- get a built short block (get the street mod 950 from http://www.modularmustangracing.com/) good for 950 hp at a reasonable price. logan motorsports came out with a sick intake manifold that will allow your power range to extend to 6500+ rpms without falling on its face like the stock manifold does. i dont really know who makes good heads but i wouldn't go with the patriot heads just b/c i heard there not that great. maybe someone else can help you out with who do deal with to get heads. the stock 2v motor cannot safely handle over 500hp to the the crank which is roughly 450 to the wheels...

o. would a 5.4 small block be a smarter move than a 4.6 from MMR?
