Another exhaust thread....yes I searched
What are you guys running for pipe? I want a nice bite to the tone, but not loud enough to be annoying. Also, I am on a slight budget, so what kind of system is out there for under $500? No X-pipe, just a standardcat-back system.
I found some SLP II systems, how are they different from the original slp?
Also, if you have a sound clip and the type of exhuast post it up.

i would suggest searching more, because there has to be thousands of threads on this...
but what i will suggest is searching for videos on youtube and streetfire.net, between those sites, there is probably every possible exhaust combination for a 4.6L mustang.

you are going to have to look on youtube and streetfire. what is going to happen thou is most people on those sites have o/r midpipes so your tone will still sound different from theirs. flowmaster if you want to be like everyone else but still have a nice tone.
as for the difference in SLP LM1s and LM2s, the LM1s are resonators so they technically aren't mufflers. LM2s are mufflers. now what you can do is get an SLP setup and if you don't like then pull the LM(whatever) out and get another straight through pipe like bassani or something else that has a straight through pipe and could then get that welded in.
