throw out bearing.

throw out bearing.
I want to know what will happen if one wears out and not replacing it. Right now mine sounds like a bird going insane, and at times the clutch is chattering at idle, where you can also feel this through the shifter. Now I had the stock clutch replaced at 59k miles, now have 67k. When i got it replaced they put in a RAM performance clutch, and replaced the pilot bearing.

They didn't replace the TOB when they put in the new clutch? Its like a $30 item, and for what a PITA it is to change, its worth it.
I can tell you exactly what will happen. I have a post going about my car falling off jack stands. I changed the clutch, but the clutch was fine...the TOB went out and was squeling like a SOB.
I took off the clutch cable cover, and the seal to the TOB fell out. When I dropped the transmission...all the BBs that made up the bearing came out and rolled onto the floor. I feelI was pretty lucky. I had to drive it about 15 miles with it squeling terrible to get it to the place I was going to work on it.
I would think those bearings could get into the pressure plate, clutch, or fly wheel and get slung out like bulletts, or just tear up a whole bunch of stuff. With that few miles on the clutch, it should have some type of warranty. They should have changed it when they did the clutch though.
