Default A few questions

I have a 99 gt without traction control. i noticed when i had the boot and bezel off i have a plug in for it.
if i get a new bezel for it with the switch would it work?
if not what would i have to do?

Does it help to race with traction controll on or does that hurt your time?

and i just put 4.30s in my car and whats a better way to get traction besides drag radials
i have 275/40/17 in back.
but i plan on drag radials too just need other ideas?

and one more question out of no where
Why do some GT's have V6 hoods?

Default RE: A few questions

1) You could try and buy the bezel/switch but it would require an ecu thats programmed with traction control to make it work, as engine timing is retarded when slip is detected.
2) no it hurts it like crazy, tc is for hairy situations people who freak wen they drive need assistance
3) upper and lower control arms, stiffer shocks and thicker sway barwill help locate your rear end better during launchs
4) from like 1999-2002 ford couldnt figure out a better hood for the GT/V6 so they all recieved the same thing

Default RE: A few questions

better tires and easing off the line is the only way your getting traction.

TC kills your times. i hate having it.

TCwas put on the car for retarded people who cant learn to keep their foot off the gas in inclimate weather.
