i think the only difference is the 04 has "special 40th edition" badges and they are alittle more money because they are newer. i think thats the only difference?

yeah, the 40th anniversery edition package. racer, they're more money if you got an 04 at the beginning of last year. now you can get them brand new cheap as all hell.

another difference is the 03 is an 03 and the 04 is an 04. hahaha..... uhhh.. yeah.. nm...

I also believe the cats are located a little further back on the mid-pipe than Pre-04 models. Nothing signficant...

well, they "were" more expensive... its only cause of the 05's though that make the 04's cheaper. the older body styles went down in value alot after the 05 came out.

yea they wanted $22,000 for a new 04 at my dealer last month. It had different clutch pedals, and 40th edition badges. it also had blue racing stripes, but i think they were added sepperate.

they wanted 22k for a new 04? that's insane! after incentives and markdown, you're lookin at getting a new 04 GT for 16k'ish. might actually be less now. they still can't get rid of them.

ohhhhhh yeah dan. you gotta use O2 extension harnesses when you put on a new midpipe with the 04. bastards! there also must be something else somewhere. when i called about the hollie dry nos kit, they told me it will NOT work on an 04. same thing when i e-mailed mustangtuning about their venom. they said it might work, but their documentation only says up to 2k3 and don't wanna be held responsible if it really doesn't work with the 04.
