Why do so many people seem scared to powershift. Get a damn short throw and learn how to drive the car right.
How do you think the stock 99gt ran 14.1 in road testing.

You kids are funny on how you judge a car on if it can "Chirp" tires. You can chirp any Manualy shifted car going into 2nd[8D]. Now a car spinning tires going into 4th thats impressive.
"chirping" 2nd is cool if your 12
i used to get second out of my auto v6 when it was stock[8D]depends on road surface, tires etc as well but you should be able to get thrid with a stock GT

1.Why do so many people seem scared to powershift.
2.Get a damn short throw and learn how to drive the car right.
3.How do you think the stock 99gt ran 14.1 in road testing.
1. Because it's horrible for the clutch, shifter, tranny.
2. You still miss gears from time to time no matter how super of a driver you may be.
3. I doubt they were paying for that car, relying on it as a DD, and expecting to drive it again.

my old car was an auto1999 maxima and it would chirp 2nd if the conditions were right

mabe my tires are too new or the surface im on is too grippy or something, but usually when im entering 3rd im not still W0T because im allready above the speed limit, that may be why i havent chirped 3rd yet because i havent had much W0T practice into that gear.

Im not saying to do it on a daily basis but dont complain about what your car wont do if you dont get into it all the way. So im sure that running the S*** out of your car without power shifting is so much easier on the car.
