Default Slp exhasut question

My girlfreind has slp catback exhaust but we do not know if it is the lm1 or lm2 does anyone know how to tell? any help would be great thanks. She bout the car with it on it so we have no receipts or anythin like that.

LOL... that's funny shyte.. to put it another way though, when the car's at WOT, if there's a raspy-*** sound like something is knocking against the inside of the muffler, and it's so obnoxious you can't hear your self think on the highway, it's probably an LM1..

you guys sure are harsh on the lm1s arent you. I have an slp catted xpipe and lm1s and i LOVE them. the only thing that could be improved is to make them LOUDER! to tell just get under the car and look. lm1s have resonators which look like a straight wall cylinder not much bigger around than the exhaust pipe going into it, whereas the lm2s actually have mufflers so to speak. they are larger and look more like a muffler.

lm1 has no guts lm2 has honey comb on the inside but its still straight threw

it is sized to the resonant frequency of the exhaust note, hence the name resonator.
