Default Cam for bone Stock '04 GT

I want a cam, mostly for the loping sound, for my bone stock 04 GT. I want something that gives a little power with out messing things up and sounds good. Is this possible? It might sound stupid to do it just for sound but that is what I want. It is a daily driver. Mom runs the kids to school in it etc. Suggestions?[/align]

Simply getting a Flowmaster cat back exhaust will give you an awesome sound over stock. Have you considered exhaust?

i will make a few phone calls, but i might have what you want. if all you want it for is the sound, a friend of mine has just the thing on his gt. He had a buddy put some sort of circuit in, i have no idea what (i didnt ask) that is activated by a switch under his stereo. when he wants to mess with someone next to him at a light he just hits the button and it literally adjusts the firing pattern/ timing something i dont know but it sounds JUST like he has a wicked cam. if i didnt know it was electronic to begin with i would never know. ill try to find out what it was and if it can be had easily.

thats ricer he needs some real cams. Go with stage 1 VT cams. Anything stage 2 and you will need to have the pistons notched and better valvesprings put in....

Simply wow.

And if you want a mild cam that still sounds good, get a "stage 1" of almost any of the major brands for our 2v mustangs. it should sound good and not mess anything up, not require much other than maybe a tune, and make some decent power.

Yes I wanna do exhaust too. But only catback. Keeping the stock h pipe. Must be stainless as the car sees some winter driving. But cam first I think.
