DYNO TUNED my 00 GT
Found a local Mustang (FORD) speed shop around town who works with the SCT X-Cal, and 4 bank chips, ect..ect.. They have a dyno, and are able to dyno-tune for your specific app.
Here's what I have, 00 GT Convert, with 4.6 SOHC w factory 3.27 LS Rear
Aftermarket CAI w/ AirFilter in fender (found out that causes more restriction)
Steeda Pully's
Stock H-Pipe, with 2 Flow's
93 Octane Tune
Dyno Cable for the TRQ was not working, but the final HP numbers came in at 250 to the rear wheels.
How does that rate? I have no idea about Mustangs, as this is my 1st ever muscle car, I have always driven TRUCKS!!

RE: DYNO TUNED my 00 GT
sounds like this wasnt a mustang dyno because of the high numbers. Must have been a dyno jet. In real life on a mustang dyno that would come out to about 240 which is pretty good for your mods.

the airfilter in the fender actaully resticts the flow more? never heard of that, the mustang i am getting has a CAI in the fender ( i beleive is a BBK) ill have to find a place to dyno my stang. Prolly needs a tune since it has the CAI, BBK catless exhaust and 75mm valve body

RE: DYNO TUNED my 00 GT
I only mentioned the Airfilter in the fender because with the CAI I have, it has the filter in the fender. with that set up, I pulled a 243hp to the rear tires. We did a 15min cool down, and he brought out an old CAI he had on one of his old stangs before he S/C it and we installed that CAI (STeeda) I think with a 10" K&N at the end of it. After the cool down, we ran the dyno again and it jumped up to 247hp. After that run we adjusted the A/F because it was leaning out more than normal, and on the last run it showed 250hp which at that point we stopped because he said that all the paramaters were dead on the money, and with those mod's it was pretty much maxed out. So now I may end up getting some Headers, and High Flow Cat's, since I have to go through inspection and see what happens after that.
