I also get about 23 combined, but 26 to 27 all highway, not bad for a v-8.

there is a big age factor in the mpg. my dad when he drove my car 22 city, when i drive my car 16-18 city, but i can usually average 20 city about 25 hwy. with those modsVVVV

you can expect 23-24 city on a stock setup with stock 3.27 gears and 30 on the highway. BUT, that is with conservative driving. Mash it and expect more like 18-19 city and 27-28 highway. This is my personal experience anyway. No matter what thats excellent for a V8 in an american car IMO.

^^ i agree^^

cant wait to pick up my mustang. guy told me he usually gets 15mpg. but he does ALOT of city driving, like every block is a stop light. and the fastest you can go is like 35mph. im curious to see what i can get w/ the mods (under pullys,CAI,75mm Throttle Bodyand BBk o/r h-pipe). its almost all back road driving for me, so im going to guess around 20.

you should beable to get 17-25 or so

if gas milage is what you are worried about, then you prob shouldnt be getting a v8.

edit: on the other hand...4 cyl. get great gas milage!
