Default Leaking rear shock?

Hello everyone, my first post here since I actually got a Mustang. It is 06 GT convertible, 23600 miles. Got the car from a private seller, still under warranty. I noticed that the right rear shockis covered with sticky black tar looking stuff ( while the others look like new ), sort of stuff that happens after the road dust and mud mixes with the oil leaking from the shock. Should I take the car to be fixed at the dealership under warranty? So far there are no handling issues and I hope just looking at it is enough for them to admit there is a problem. Has anyone else had a similar problem before? And, if they agree to replace it shouldn they do the other one at the same time? ( I normally replace shocks in pairs... ) Let me know what you think...

Whn it leaks that means its blown so if its under warranty theyll replace it. They might even replace both just so they are even in use. This happened to my dads 07 tacoma and they replaced both shocks at thedealership and only 1 was leaking.

BTW, they replaced the shock, they just looked at told me yes its leaking, but they said they can not do two of them because Ford takes all the defective parts back and if one of them is not defective they would not approve the job or something like that. So far everything is OK.
