Hey guys, i have a '96 v6 now but am hoping to buy a (99-04)gt this summer. I was just wondering what kind of mpg's u guys get w/ v8's and how much it costs to fill up. Thanx

 

from what i have read on here. People are getting around 17-20 city/20-25 highway

and some 23 combined!..Now if you get on it alot i wouldnt be suprised if you got 14-17

 

im in ny where its about $4 a gallon it costs about $50 to fill up... and i average about 20-24 on a full tank, depends on how much racing i do. a full tank i think got me about i think if i remember right like 260 ish when i actually filled it all the way up. i rarely do that. but im sure you could tune it for better mpg, im gonna once my sniper tuner gets back.

 

Well I dont plan on any racing, so if i can get low to mid 20's, that would be nice.

 

just depends how and where you drive i guess

 

My 04 stick gets 26-27 highway and about 23-24 normal mixed driving. It holds about $40 from a 1/4 tank at current prices.

 

i think last time i checked i was at 24mpg and that was a both city and highway driving

i believe the fuel take is 14-15ish gallons isnt it?

 

15.4 Gallons to be exact.

 

I get over 20mpg with 4.10s (plusa couple other mods) in my svt, so it's mainly just how you drive. Would totally suggest the bump up to the V8 world though
