Default Not sure what to do

I have a 2003 GT convertable, but its an automatic, and i really am not enjoying automatics.....It was my first car, and its got BBK CAI, 75mm TB/P, Mac O/R X-pipe, flowmasters, BBK underdrive pulleys, and a superchips tune. I have also put a lot of work into giving it a pearl paint job.
So I'm not sure what to do......
Automatic transmissions seem so complicated, and i prefer a manual anyway.
I could spend 10 grand and buy everything out of an 03 cobra from mps salvage, including computer and tranny, and try get it in there....
try sell my car and find a decent priced cobra or manual GT
or keep it, buy headers, cams, stall converter, gears, brakes, tires, suspension, possibly nitrous, port and polish etc.....I was looking at pro-comp stage 2 cams, but i'm scared because i don't know much about cams or automatics, and i might have to buy new heads because i keep blowing spark plugs out and the previous owner tried to tap one and wrecked the seat so its helicoiled but it might not hold....

As well, i won't get much for my car, nobody cares if it has a paint job and such,
so I dont know, any suggestions?
P.S What's a stall converter do? The cams require a 2000+

You could also get the news heads like you mentioned, have them P&P. But if your gonna start that you should just go all the way with H/C/I.

Start beefin it up! But it you hate the auto, how bout you start a swap? You seem like your in for a project anyway! 5 speeds are A LOT more fun (not to rub it in, lol)!

There is no shame in drivin it hard, you have to from time to time!
