Boring Motor?

RE: Boring Motor?
I know you can stroke it to at least a 5.1L, but boring should only be used to resurface the cylinder walls not to increase displacement. You'll only gain 2 or 3 cubic inches by boring it .030 over which will not result in any significant gains in power.

There are little/no gains to be had from stroker its on all but the most built motors, and even then the gains are minimal. The big bore kits are worthwhile if your super rich and want every last HP, plus already have a built motor (h/c/i etc) to go along with it... otherwise not.
