the bolt your buddy probably had a hard time getting was on the passanger side connecting the mid pipe to the manifold. Some extensions and a swivel will make it very easy. Good luck.

Me and Miller have been trying since Wed to get my last manifold/midpipe nut off the stud, the ****ing thing is ON THERE. Heating and everything doesnt work.
My boss is letting me borrow one of his air compressors. Lets see how the bolt holds to 700 lbs of torque being applied to it.

You hsould soak the bolts with wd - 40 prior to taking the old one off. After that all you need is a long socket extension and you should be ok. Also on the passanger side one bolt is a little hard to get off due to lack of space so a swivel head works awsome
