Reverse Light problems!!
checked the grounds in the trunk, they are good. it's making contact yes, checked using my meter for continuitiy, tranny in neutral- no continuity , tranny in reverse-continuity, so it's making contact. I've been tryin to post the wire diagram but it's in pdf format, so it won't let me.
with your meter test the ground wire for continuity on the ohms setting. it should be low, less than 1ohm, prolly around .4... if you have that you know your ground is good. i know you checked the ground connection but that doesn't mean the wire is good. i HAVE to assume there is no power at the connector in the back. working your way back is a good idea. if you tested the switch activate it and then check your reverse lights.. then you will know if its the switch not activating like you asked above. find a wiring diagram, should make life easier.
sorry we posted at the same time.... i will look at the diagram.

wait!!!!
to make it a little easier on you.... if your meter has long enough cables just check continuity through the wires from the tranny back to the trunk. if your cables aren't long enough then you can extend the wire by using a jumper or something... that will at least give you a place to start.... instead of trying to work on back slowly..
