What would be the best tire to run on a 15x10 rim in the back? I dont want to have issues ... im considering the nitto 555rs but I dont think they will fit the car im not sure... Any ideas? it will be a daily driver with occasional trips to the track..[/align]

Mickey Thompsons would be a better tire. I have the Nitto DR's and I like them, but people are saying the MT's are stickier.

I can't help until I know a little about your car (power, suspension, rearend, etc) and what you want from it.

i have a 235/60/15 mickey thompson on the back of my 02... and it hooks great... i can only imagine how they'd be if i had a 10inch rim, and the appropriate width tire

I know everyone (besides me) is going to say M/T right off the bat, but the way I look at it is....
He's going to a 15" rim which will give him plenty of sidewall. A nitto on a 15" rim may be more than enough for his car, I have now idea how much HP he's making, or his setup. He also said that this is his daily driver with occasional trips to the track, with that being said I'd lean towards the nittos. Nittos will last longer and are much safer in the rain (for a daily driver).

275 mt drags are gonna be a ton of tire... cars go 1.4 60ft with them.. and aa buddy with 800 torque at the wheels will hook in 2ndgear from a 50 roll with them... ill hook from a 20 with my car on the shot.... I don't see most cars needing that much.. specially if you ont have something instant like a ts or spray
