Converters arent so expensive, Im planing on getting one from PA for like $300. I got a Predator not long ago and the difference is very noticiable. Shifts are neck braking at wot and it shifts right at the sweet spot.

im kinda bad at explaing stuff, but here goes. a stall converter keeps the engine in the powerband. its very popular with drag racers. it keeps your car from moving until your RPM's reach the stall speed at which you have your converter made for. for example i have a 1,800 stall converter. my car wont move foward until i hit 1,800 RPMs. If you have a 2,300 stall speed then your car wont go foward until you hit 2,300 RPM's. If you have an everyday driver you want something with a lower stall speed. If you have a 3,400 stall speed and your in stop and go traffic you can inch foward until you hit 3,400 RPM's so your gunna burn lots of gas that way.. hope i made sense outta all of that..

Hey auto guys!!
When I step on my mustang it takes sometime before I am flying. Is there a way to fix this problem?
And this is a weird question but how does your gas petal fell because I really have to step on it to speed up.
Thanks

My throttle response is pretty damned good. The few people I have let drive it were impressed, including my mechanic. But yea, it doesn't really get going till about 3k rpms. then it really moves Especially in second.....
