Igot mine on ebay for 80 each. The stock number for the 2.25inch original 40's is #42443 for the1979-2004 models. The 2.50inch is #42543. Soon enough im going to get a bbk catted xpipe and headers.Maybe that will make them louder, but for now they are deffinetly loud alone.

I got both of mine for 75$ picked up locally from someone on the forums. Just look around they are so easy to find.

o/r midpipe will really wake up the flows.

go with the american muscle cat back or just the 40's i hav that setup and it sounds nice. It has a nice throaty sound to it im sure theres a sound clip on youtube somewhere than if thts not loud enough for u go with some lt's and an o/r or high flow catted midpipe.

I bought the mufflers! As for the tips, I found some nice 3" ones. They're 13" long and the other side of the pipe is 2.5". Will that work witht the stock 2.25" pipes?

i did the same exact thing to my car, i just bought the tips that you bought and im gonna get them put on. The guys at mieneke said it would be no problem
