no, DO NOT do all of your coils. they dont "wear". they work or they dont. no reason to replace if they work. that would be a massive waste of dough. and if you do anyway, i will take your old ones.
you're right, i just have this tick in my head from when I had my 69 mustang and i just replaced everything associated to the failure. If a spark plug went bad i gave the whole car a tune up. i need to lose that complex

well a bad plug would warrant all new plugs, but not everything else.

I appreciate all the help. As of now, there are no codes showing, but I have a friend who says he thinks he can find it if one of the coils are going bad. It is definately a miss and not just idling rough. I have come to the conclusion that it must be one of the coils, and will change the plugs back after I find out if it is one of the coils or not. One more thing, this car takes spells where it doesn't want to start after it warms up. After one try it usually starts fine, but can't figure out why it is doing this. Sometimes it helps to pump the gas while it is turning over and it will start but that doesn't always work. Again thanks for all the help.

As long a you have the money just do the whole job: plugs, wires, and coils. then don't worry about them for a long time
Come on jwarner, you know we dont have wires. [>:]

I like the Motorcraft copper version of the stock plugs.
