Default Tuner???

I know this question has been asked before, but I'm just not sure which tunerwill get the most bang for my buck. I have a 2002 GT with minimum mods. Underdrive pullies, K&N Intake, Short Throw Shifter(not that that pertains to it), throttle body, and anx-pipe with a Bullitt exhaust. Can anybody help me with which tuner is the best to get? I do a good amount of Drag Racing(1/4 mile) and would like something that is going to help me there. Not really a street racer. Can't afford the tickets. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

I like my diablosport but have heard nothing but good about sct also. The diablosport is really user friendly but most peoples dyno machines are only compatible with sct. Sniper tuning is suppose to be good also, but i think its geared my towards serious builds.

Sniper Special Forces, $380 and a lot more versatile then anything else in that price range...

I have sct xcal3 it is great. got it because of gear change. but a dyno tune for around 250.00 would probably be best theyput iton the dyno and adjust all perameters to give the most out your car and mods.

i haven't had a dyno tune but i would imagine that if you don't have the tuner then you have to pay for the tuner and then the dyno tune so your first dyno tune will cost you more cuz the tuner is $400 bucks. someone correct me if i am wrong though, but that is what would make sense to me.

to the guy from brenspeed: did you take your car to brenspeed to tune or did they just e-mail you your tune for $400?

i have the sniper i am vvery happy with it its very easy to use. i did have a bad interface, sent it back they sent me a new one no problem. do recommend a wideband air/fuel ratio gauage. its alittle hard to get that dialed in without one. but the timing you can do through there recon program (which comes with it). i dont about the other tuners but with sniper you can also have mutliple tunes. up to 5 other tunes (the 6th is the stock setting).

I own a diablo (collecting dust now) it was ok but not worth the money, I have used SCT on friends cars and hated it. I now have sniper and would buy nothing else. You have so much more control over your tune then you do with any other tuner for $380.

i called them up and asked about all the information about it. i later emailed them with all the mods i have on my car and what they usually do is send it to you via mail. it takes one week to process the order then it is shipped. i picked it up myself to see how they installed it (really easy) and then drove home(bout an hour from their location)

seems expensive but i noticed a lot...and with gas prices as they are now every mpg i gain helps out a lot since its a DD
