Default Is my car a "true blue"?

I have a 2001 Gt convertible with a white top and I heard people talking about the true blue mustangs? It is that dark midnight blue that I know ford only offered in 01.

I believe the true blue was first offered on the 2001 Bullitt. So, if your car is an '01 and it's the dark midnight blue....it should be a "True Blue". You can also get the paint code off the ID tag on the inside of the door. Hope that helps...

My 2002 GT is True Blue. Kind of changes to a purpley odd color in the sunlight.

I had a 02' True Blue and it definitely changes purple with different light hitting it.. Loved that colour as well as the one I have now, only flaw with my 02 TB is that it was born a V6. I found TB to be very difficult to keep clean, Yellow is much easier to hide water spots.
