I called a guy about installing subrame connectors on my car and they told $250 not counting the subframe connectors he said that they weld about 4ft on each side to make it stronger is this true or just bs if i had the place to do i could weld them in myself but i dont. this price wasfrom a performance shop in sc.

RE: subframe weld ins
ask him for pics of them done on a car. then post them up, cause i have to see this 4ft of weld. even if there was 4 ft to weld to, it'd be dumb to weld the whole length, a 4inch weld every foot would be more than enough, anything more would bea waste.

For what it is worth.
I just had this conversation locally, the guy says it is so expensive because he pulls up the carpet and stuff so the welding does not cause damage to it. And yes, he says he welds it more than the required minimum also.
