Default Slick Sizing

A guy local to me is selling a pair of Hoosier slicks for a very good price, less then half price, and they're new.

But, I think they're too big to fit on my car, just wanted to confirm.

28"x11" - for a 15" rim. Too much?

Thanks guys

yea too big... shoot for a 26 inch tire... 28s will make it feel like 3.73s

Crap, I guess that's why he hasn't been able to sell them for a long time!

That and they might swell too much??

I've been searching for used 26x9 - 15s, which I think will be perfect, but of course the demand is high for that size, so they're hard to find used.

thats a good size for most strip cars, alota the older cars you see run a taller tire... with more power and more gear though
