headers or udp

RE: headers or udp
not sure how you are even comparing the two (udps or headers)....there is a HUGE cost difference between the two for both the parts AND labor.
example....cheap pair of LT's - $300
install cost - $350-500
total cost for LT's - $650 - $800
UDPs - $180
install cost - $75
total cost for UDP's - $250ish
as you can see.....and have found out by checking around....BIG price difference!
now my opinion on the matter....unless you are able to install the headers yourself....then they are not worth it...at all. (imho)
now the pulleys....i have not had any charging issues what-so-ever with mine...no dimming of lights, or anything like that. and for the money....i think UDPs are very worth it. a couple hundred bucks to free up a few horses. about like any other mod for our cars. i felt a bigger gain than i thought i would from the UDP's. after reading on here i didnt think i was going to notice a difference. i was wrong.
so....if you are truely choosing between these 2 mods....i would go pulleys first with out a doubt. unless like i said (and others) you instal the headers yourself. then i would go LTs.

RE: headers or udp
Well i got some BBK UDP and i loved them i could feel them. I spent about 150 and cost me 40 to install. That equal $190. Also got long tubes from MAC, 350ish, install 200. If you find the right shop you can find the right price. I felt both give me significant power and still 15 RWHP isgoodpower. Plus the sound is amazingly loud.

UDP pros - little more power and look kind of cool under the hood.
LT pros - more power and great sound
