Done Deal. I found a used S/C for right around 3,500 with a 1 year warranty. It only has 6 to 8 pounds of boost but that's enough for me. It's claimed that I will make 385 rwhp, does that sound about right?

Mileage really doesnt matter when it comes to S/Cing a car. Do a compression test and make sure the motor is good. I have seen people slap on a S/C on a 130,000 mile car and still run strong up over 200,000 miles. Its all in the tune.
$3500 you can get a new s/c set up.
Heads and cams are worth the money if you install yourself. $1900 from summit is alot also for stage 2 heads and cams. http://www.cushmanmotorsports.com/in...oducts_id=1758

Go with the SC. 13's are slow. the SC should be able to get you into the 12's. Check out the article in Aug 2008 5.0Msf mag. They have a pretty good write up on a 99 gt with Sc/ heads and cams. however, I don't think the heads and cams did much for this stang since it only putout 449hp and 437 to the wheels.
^The cushman heads are a great price.
