Default 4v & S/C with a S/C 2v tune...

So I'm trying to work a deal for a Cobra motor form one of the guys in my club. How would the car run with a the 2v s/c tune if I just put in the 4v? I'm sure I wouldn't be able to boost it but I would like to know if it would be ok to just drive until I could get it tuned a few weeks later. I wouldn't be driving it everyday, just down to hang out and to the tuner. The reason i'm asking is My tuners is not very good at sending generic tunes.

I had a death in the family so I've been out of the loop lately.

I figured I shouldn't. I was just hoping to get the answer I wanted more than the answer I knew...

Why would some one want a 2V over a 4V? What year 4V is it?

No swap, just a good price. I think it's either a 01 or a 02 Cobra. 800$ and the only problem with it is I'll need a new idler pulley. It was a totaled car and I'll also have to go and tear it out of the car.

You wanna trade Tim? 3800 and your car and it's ALL yours.

I really don't think it would be that off. The 01 doesn't use the IMRC plates so really there is no reason the car shouldn't run. I would probably stay out of boost, but it should run.

I've got a 4v harness from a Mach 1 if you need it. I just finished my Termie swap and it took me awhile to figure out why my fuel pump wasn't cycling, but I don't know if the other New Edge Cobras are different.

EDIT - something I realized from doing my car is make sure all the pinouts from the PCM to the ECM and engine harness line up. My car would only fire 4 cylinders until I swapped out the ECM harness to match the engine harness.
