When running the A.C. or heater my 03GT runs at about 1700 R.P.M., it will drop down to a proper idle speed after a while, sometimes it runs perfect. It doesn't do this with the A.C. or heater off. I replaced the idle control valve yesterday but that didn't help. What do I check next?

 

idk check the T/b see if its closing all the way or sticking. Is there a vacuum leak somewhere.

 

Also, disconnect the battery for 5-7 minutes to clear the KAM and let the PCM relearn the idale air trim. You need to do this anytime you alter or change intake or fuel system components.
