Default Cam

I'm looking into a new cam...but i got some questions

1) if i get one for a s/c (cuz im gettin a kb 2.2 later on this yr) will it still run when my car is n/a?
2) i want one with the loppy idle...that badass sound that older muscle cars have, and I cant find them.

I found oen site that had it, and in the description it said it had a loppy idle...but ill be damned if i can remember where it way

anyone got some answers? thanks!

my '69 superbee sounds just like that, its a great sound... i love to drive that car. i want to get my stang to sound like that... ive heard a sound clip of some VT stage 2 cams and it sounded great... im in the same fix you are, im gettin a supercharger but i want to run the cams before i throw the blower on and i need some s/c cams.. you cant run n/a cams with a supercharger.

dang, with a 2.2 youre going to need like the VT stage 2 cams like racer said but while your getting those installed you might as well replace the pistons and crankshaft also the head gaskets most likely because your going to need some forged internal parts to support that big ace KB 2.2

Start saving, it's gonna get expensive.

Yeah, I know, i'm lookin at a 5.1 liter bore kit for it. Comes with forged everything, and its only 1900.00. Guarenteed ill get nailed for installation though [:@]

then i'll get some good heads, but I am wondering about this cam still. I remember one site that had a bunch of cams, all of them listed what kind of sound they produced and all that, but i cant remember which.

so did we ever find out if you can run n/a with a cam meant for s/c, just until you get the s/c at least?
