The car is extremely clean. the only things i was worried about was i head a pinging when i ogt on it figure its bad gas. then went i got on it and let off it mad a clunking sound like some play in the rear end or something. i was thinking of trying to have them fix it then think about buyin it. 01 gt it didnt sound like it had a stock exhaust either

There is no reason for a 2001 pony to be having problems. I don't think is the gas BC they use 87 octane so thats as low octane as it gets. The sound in the rear can be lots of stuff. Plus I think you could get a better deal than that on this particular car. Don't get crazy there r som really nice and clean mustangs out there. I wouldn't trust the dealer fixing stuff either unless they give me @ least 90 waranty on the car. Good luck.

i'd pass on it. you can get a better deal than that. keep looking. the miles are pretty low but i wouldn't pay 15,000 for anything that i wasn't 100 percent sure on. besides what's with that pinstripe? i bought mine for less money and it had fewer miles so i KNOW you can find better deals.

the car has 34xxx on it and they have somethin like a 4 month 3000 warenty

Doesnt look too bad. Nice car although I would definitely find out about those noises. And work on that price! My friend just got a 00 GT yesterday. 38K, Auto, White w/ black cloth. $12,500!!

There is 33K on it according to their ad, not bad if you ask me, but when i test drove mine it was pinging like you said so i said the same thing about the gas, but when i bought it i put 91 in it and it has yet to ping ( i KNOW they are supposed to take 87)

i love this thread. it's making me feel really terrific about the deal i got on my car.

i got it in january of last year. it is a 2000 leather, mach 460 stereo, manual, it still has the original window sticker and all the manuals and everything. it had 28,000 miles on it and i only paid 11.

Good deal you got. The thing is if you r happy with what you r getting then what you pay is worthy. I got my 02 GT. 2 months ago. It had 12000 miles on it. Still smelled new the seats loked like nobody had ever sat on them. The only thing it had done was the intake and the rims. I paid 16000 after taxes. Some people may think this is a bit to much for an 02 but when they see the car they give to me and tell me that I got a good deal.

i found another 00 or 01 with 60-70k on it but he wanted $13xxx he was closing so i didnt get to talk to him about it i might see i i can make it to him tomorrow and test it out. but i think its too much money

13,000 is too much for a '00 or '01 with 60K+ on it.

the year is less important than the mileage. i know someone who paid 13,000 for an 87 LX 5.0 which sounds like a rip off but it only had 8400 original miles on it.
