Default 4.6L Stroker Kit

Hows everyone doing... I have a question and i really hope i can get some good answers and help. I'm extremely interested in doing a stroker kit for my 04 Mustang GT. I was hoping someone has done one, or has some information for me. I'm not exactly sure what to get or where to get it. I was hoping for some reccomendations and if anyone has any testimonies about them. Thanks for your time guys and girls.

No personal experience with them, but search around the ads on the site to see if you can find a kit. It would include a new crank, pistons and rods.

Your crank determines your stroke. While you have the block all torn apart you could have it bored over as well.

well if i get the motor bored over, i have to get bigger pistons correct? because of the oversized cylinder heads correct? im not the best with motors, i just know what i want and try and save up to get it lol. but anyway, how much would it cost to bore the motor also. I'm mainly going with a stroker kit because i wanna get a kenne bell supercharger in time, but i just wanna make sure everything from the bottom end and top end are ready to slap the blower on and be able to run some higher boost than 8psi i believe was the max. Thanks for the reply though. Gives me some things to think about

If your going to put a KB on it stay away from a stroker kit, it adds compression. Boosts worst enemy! Just get a steel Cobra Crank, Forged rods and pistons. That would be enough to handle about 700 hp! Look into these companies for the kit...

That should get you started!

No way on the 5.1 kit. I talked to the guys at VT Engines about that kit, they bore those blocks like .60 over. I dont know about you, but I want a little more side wall than that????
