Default Sniper Tuning Question

I am debating purchasing the sniper tuning software. I have a really important question however tho. If I were to return my car to its oem tune, which originally it was an automatic, now its a t56. I do not want to buy the sniper tuning package unless it provides the ability to reprogram it for the manual swap.

Also, are there any walkthroughs or anything I can look over on how to create a good tune? I want as much information as you guys can offer, however I can't find what I'm looking for.

There is a selection for which tranny you have when creating the tune. Ask on snipertuningforums.com for a better answer.

Type in sniper tuning review on google and get some good info.

I'm pretty sure you can do that. There is a great walk through on snipers forums that Oxford mentioned.

The best advice I can offer is to buy a wideband system along with the sniper software (or any other self tuning software you might be contemplating). It will give you the ability to make proper fine tuning adjustments. It makestuning so much easier it's not even funny.

Yeah I just bought this software today. Where should I buy a wideband system? Is it really necessary?

I got my AEM EUGO on Ebay for 205 shipped. It was the cheapest I found. It is not absolutely necessary, but after you start tuning, you'll wish you had one.

If you are adjusting any WOT fuel it is absolutely necessary.

Okay but for now I can just throw the tune that the sniper makes and be fine? Will I there be any noticeable performance or not really?

When I was running with a diablo tune the car always ran rich at idle. With just the tune sniper made it fixed that. I bumped the timeing and it had alot more noticable power then the when I bumped the timing with the diablo.

Oh alright. I don't think I want to mess with timing I'm afraid I'll mess something up. I guess the wideband will help with that.
