I wouldnt weld the joints. That is a horrible idea and will cost alot of money down the road. If you cant findthecausetake it to a pro.

I would only smell it when driving especially under hard accleration windows up or down did not matter. For the record I did not weld the flanges from the headres to the x. I welded the new cats instead of clamps and also welded the the connections to the mufflers.

By "pro", you mean an exhaust shop? I already had it at a dealer, then a speed shop. Neither could spot any exhaust leaks.

I don't know I have a Mac Prochamber O/R H pipe and you can smell the exhaust because there's no cats that should benormal. But I realize that the problem here is worse than that normal no cats smell.
