Default engine rev problem

ok...when i am braking from say 50mph and put my car in neutral or hold the clutch my rpm's drop to around 500 or lower and also i have had my car shut off before..i was wondering if this has happend to anybody else. i cleaned out the inside of my throttle body with carb cleaner to see if that would fix the problem so far no problem but it has only been 2 days. any suggestions

read in your owners manual about battery maintenance. there's a section about teaching your car the proper idle trim.
