Default Quick Q's about 3.73 gears, clutch slipage, and licnese plate lights

I have a few questions I was wondering if people can answer:

1. Does anyone know what the RPM is on 5th gear on an 04 GT going at 80mph? Because I want to get this ratio but I am afraid that my cruising RPM will be too high and it will lower my gas mileage. Over here in CA 80mph on the freeway is the usual speed.

2. How can I best test of my clutch is slipping? my car is still running the stock clutch and the car has about 27,150 miles on it.

3. Does anyone know how to neatlyturn off the license plate lights without simply permanantly cutting the wires?

Thanks!,
Brandon

1) http://www.paladinmicro.com/PalMFrame00.htm?wks=MIL
2) I dunno how others decide but I can feel it when the clutch begins to wear.
3) unplug the bulbs.

I am pretty sure it's not. There are many older model cars out there that do not have lights over the plates.

It is illegal in every State, it's one of the things they will use as an easy excuse to pull you over here in Florida. The direct link to my speed calculator pages is:http://www.paladinmicro.com/PalMFrame00.htm?wks=spd(I need to do something about linking to the frame contents)...
