No power going to solenoid??
What would cause power to get to the starter...but not the solenoid? Ignition switch? Car turned off while driving...hasnt turned on since. CAN short starter to get it to run.

Ok, start from the beginning...you got the battery, ignition fuse, ignition switch, clutch saefty, anti-theft, and finally the relay. With a good battery, fuse and ignition switch out of the way, get out the multimeter, and check to see if you get power to the relay with key on and clutch depressed. If you have power, the relays out. If your not getting power to the relay, the clutch safety isnt engaging or your tripping the anti-theft somehow.

According to wiring diagrams, its
fuse > ignition switch > clutch safety > anti-theft > relay > solinoid
did you check for power with the key in the start position? how bout continuity in the wire before the clutch safety?

I would check for power @ Ignition switch 40amp fuse. Don't just look at the fuse and assume it is good. To many times I have looked at one, and it look good, only to find out when I hooked a multimeter to it, it was shot.
If that checks out, make sure you are getting 12vdc to the yellow wire going into your ignition switch.
Make sure you are looking at the right connector for the clutch switch. There should be 2 connectors, 1 for the cruise cut-off, and one for the starter kill switch. The red/lt blu wire is for the clutch starter kill. You can take a jumper wire and jump the switch to verify if it is good or not. The red/lt bluwire will only have 12vdc when the key is in the start position.
Let me know what you find out with all of that.

Ok I DO have power going to the ignition switch. My question...as to ponysnake's post...the fuse to start the path is that the big black one? I thought those were called relays. So does power start from the ignition fuses then after passing ignition switch, clutch safety, an anti theft, does it go back to the fuse box under the hood through that big black fuse(or relay whatever its called)?
