Don't fear the gear. I just put in my 8.84's and ill tell you, The mustang should come stock with those gears. Top speed virtually stayed the same and i think i gained a gas mile in the city (and maybe lost 1 or 2 on the highway). Ill tell you what my RPM is at 60mph once i get my diablo tune and it stops bouncing off the rev limiter after 50 mph.

On another note i can now finally cherp 5th gear, powershifting. Oh i also had to relearn to drive my car.

lol 884's . WOOSY gears. I was definately lookin at like 10.10's or around that area. I hear with thsoe babys ill be runnin the quarter mile in 2 seconds flat, just a green streak down the drag strip. But wiith the purchase of those comes a high quality drag parachute so i can stop after those 2 seconds

Yea i was gonna go wtih those gears, only reason i didn't is becasue Ford racing doesn't make them so the next best thing was the 8.84's, still a good choice IMO. Oh and BTW

8.84's + stickers/badges covering my car = NO TRACTION [:@]
