The directions explained that I would need to use the new alternator bracket, and the one that I had to use had a large black piece at the back of it that ran in the way of many of the vacuum lines that run in front of the t/b and plenum.

Also, there is a piece that seemed to get in the way of the upper radiator hose so that it doesnt connect clearly to the thermostat..

is there a secret to this, or was i missing something in my install before i messed up the timing cover?
