Which is a better pound of fuel injectors?

RE: Which is a better pound of fuel injectors?
Unless you have an awesome tuner, no. I'm not 100% sure though. You'd be losing power by not going to a larger MAF. Also, when you have the car tuned ( a MUST w/ a S/C) they can calibrate the MAF to the injectors.

You put in your other thread that a MAF was on your mod list. Before you go blowing all kinds of $$$, you might want to read up, research and figure out what you need and what each mod does.

RE: Which is a better pound of fuel injectors?
In almost every situation possible, if you are making 450 rwhp or less, 30# injectors are more than fine. People who do a standard blower set-up don't need 42# injectors. 30 # injectors can support a lot of boost and rwhp. Basicly, if you are running a blower set-up on stock engine internals, you don't need 42# ers. As a matter of fact, I believe that a lot of people's tuning woe's on mustangs are because they are running too much injector. My 440 rwhp S281 uses 30's, and they aren't even close to being maxed. If you are running 30# injectors with a blower set-up on stock internals, and you are going 'lean', it is almost certainly not the injectors, unless they are clogged. Chances are it is the delivery system or the pump almost every time.
