Default Accufab TB and plenum installed....

Just got my TB and plenum combo installed along with the fenderwell mounted Densecharger without a hitch. Took a few hours (n00b.)[sm=hiya.gif] I just don't understand why so many people have idleing problems after doing such an installation.? I fired it up right away and it runs just as smooth as it had before and definately noticed the power gains also.

I just installed the densecharger and green filter on my 04' GT Sunday and it started up and idled great right away as well, sounds awesome and solid at full throttle.

I am impressed how quite the intake is until you get in the throttle hard, I like that there is no his or anything like a pancacke free flowing filter on a carbed V8.

How pricey is the TB and plenum?

Do you need a programmer or chip when you change them?

My densecharger did make an ever so slight whistling noise at 2,000rpms. After adding my MAC 70mm t/b it screams at 2,000rpms. I would say other than the 4.30's, the 70mm t/b was my biggest throttle response gainer. I LOVED it...still need a plenum.

I have my c and l plenum with bbk 75 mm throttle body sitting in my room waiting to go on my car. Im really interested to see how much sotp i gain from this. Does it just flat out pull harder past 3500?

Get out there and throw thoese on your car, you will really notice a gain in performance!!! You will be kicking yourself in the *** for not doing it sooner. I put a c&l plenum with mac 75mm tb and noticed a big gain in performance espically at the higher rpm's!!

I got my accufab combo from mustangtuning.com for 400. As far as needing a chip, I doubt it or at least I hope not cause I didn't get one. But i do plan on getting a Predator tuner before to long to cahnge shift point and stuff on my auto[sm=headbang.gif]. Any guesses as th my rwhp? Gonna dyno it soon too, thinking maybe I'd be at 240-250 maybe?

i though they only added like 5-7 hp for the price of those i dont think its worth it, but every little bit counts i guess.

true but the effects should be multiplied when coupled with a good exhaust!!
